In this article we are going to tell you 12 such rules that you should follow in your life related to your eating habits that will make your life more healthy. If you follow these tips, you can enjoy a healthy lifestyle with lesser complications and you can increase your age as well. So we will start right from when you wake up in the morning till you go to bed at night. So let’s quickly start this information.

So the number one point is just after waking up, you should be drinking at least one glass full of warm water. It can be hot as well but it should be tolerable for you. It is good if you can add one or half lemon into it. This will be a great detox drink, it will flush out the toxins from your body. If you will add lemon it will increase the vitamin C inside your body. This will in turn boost your immunity to fight against diseases that are normally there due to the weather change like cold, cough, flu etc.

Second tip is just after waking up, it is good to splash cold water onto your eyes. This will increase your vision. If you are wearing glasses your number will come down and in some cases, if you can pursue this for a longer time , you will be able to remove your glasses as well.

Number three is if you are accustomed to drink tea or coffee in the morning then make a habit of drinking tea or coffee only after eating something first. You should never be drinking tea or coffee on an empty stomach. So what would be the best for you is to eat some overnight soaked nuts like raisins, walnuts, almonds before drinking tea/coffee.

Then you can go for your tea or the coffee. Drinking tea or coffee when your stomach is empty will lead to problems like gastric issues, indigestion, your stomach will feel full and you will not like to eat the things. Ultimately this creates a problem for you. You may opt for cookies but if you are going for a healthier option, nuts are always good for you.

Now the fourth tip is about eating fruits. You should be eating fruits every day. Try to include more of the seasonal fruits. It is always good to eat seasonal fruits because they have the maximum potency of giving you the nutrients and the mineral when it is the season.
Now, time is very much important whenever you are eating fruits. You should be eating them before 12:00 p.m.. That means in the morning you have to eat and after 12:00PM you should not be eating fruits because then the benefits of eating fruits are not that much High.

Apple, pomegranate they are the fruits you should be eating in everyday. It is a very very popular saying that an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apart from this, coconut water is good for you. But again the time matters a lot here. So if you’re drinking coconut water, the benefits will be there only if you are drinking coconut water before 11:00 a.m. in the morning.

Number fifth is to eat salad. Again there is a rule that you should be eating the salad before your meals. So if it is the lunch time or the dinner time, first you should be eating the salad. Salad should be comprising of all the raw things like raw vegetables, green leafy vegetables, there could be cucumber, radish, carrot, broccoli, beetroots etc. So these are vegetables together with green leafy that make a very good salad.

Eating at least one bowlful of salad before your meals will give you good amount of fiber for digestion. It will be helpful in keeping your sugar in control and this will also help in weight loss.

The sixth point is about drinking water. As we have talked about eating meals, now it is very important that you should not be drinking water just after having your meals. You have to wait for at least 45 minutes and then you can drink water. Similarly if you are having meals, so you cannot have a meal just after drinking water. So there should be at least a gap of 30 minutes to 45 minutes in the consumption of water and your meals.

If you break this rule, you may face a problem of indigestion, weight gain, you can accumulate the fat around your belly that means your stomach pouch can come out. It will definitely going to give you a lot of diseases and definitely a bad impression on your appearance.

Now seventh point is a special point and we have made it a different point, a segregated point altogether. You should be drinking at least 3 Litres of water per day. That is 10 glass full of water you should be drinking every day. Make a habit of drinking warm water in winter. In case it is summer season, you can go for room temperature water .

Drinking 3 Litres of water per day make sure that your body is hydrated, it gets detoxed, there is radiance in your skin, the health of your kidney is good etc, metabolism improves, a lot of diseases gets cured automatically etc.

Second rule about drinking water is that whenever you’re drinking water first you need to sit down. You should never be drinking water when you are standing. This is said to breed trouble in terms of knee and joint pains. And again when you are drinking water, drink water sip by sip. You should not be gulping it in one go. Drinking water sip by sip makes sure that the every sip of water is taking in some saliva with itself and this will make a great difference to the water you’re
drinking in terms of its benefits.

So drinking sip by sip warm water while sitting at least 3 L of water per day is good for you. Similarly it is said that if you’re drinking milk you should be drinking milk in standing position. It is said when you are drinking milk in standing position it will make your joints stronger, your knee will not pain.

Now the eighth point is about the use of salt in your food. It will be good practice for you to include rock salt or the pink Himalayan salt instead of going for the white salt. Now that being said, you should not be completely avoiding white salt. What you can do is to eat more of the pink himalayan salt that is the rock salt and very less of the white salt. This is because white salt has its own benefits like it has got good amount of iodine added.

Pink salt has got tremendous minerals, iron content. It is good for your respiratory system, the problem of water retention, the swelling and the blood pressure problem can be taken care if you are including rock salt or the Himalayan salt in your diet.

Number ninth point is to avoid white sugar. Now white sugar is a processed sugar which has harmful effects on your health. You can replace this white sugar with jaggery. Jaggery has good advantages, good health benefits. Like if you are eating Jagerry, it will reduce the oxidative stress in your body, increase the immunity, reduce the acidity and the gastric issues.

If you are diabetic, you should be completely avoiding white sugar and you can switch to jaggery. Again you should not be eating lot of jaggery but jaggery will help you a lot in maintaining your blood sugar level. At least your blood sugar level will not spike immediately when you are eating jaggery. Other than this Jagerry is also good for the joint pain.

Ninth point is about the oil you are using in cooking. Now the refined oil is a processed oil and it is not good for your health. Instead of the refined oil, you should be using desi ghee(clarified butter). Now if you do not have any availability of desi ghee, you can go for the sesame oil, olive oil or coconut oil for cooking. These oils are very good for you but avoid using refined oil which can breed a lot of trouble to you.

11th point is about the dinner. Now your dinner should be over before the sundown. If you make a habit of eating your last meal before the sunset, it is very good for you. After the sunset, the metabolism goes low and in case you are having your dinner after the sundown, you can have problems like acidity, indigestion, weight gain problem can be there.

Dinner should be as light as possible. Do not eat things that are difficult to digest. Like you should not be including curd, rice, kidney beans or chick peas in dinner because they are quite hard to digest at night. Once you have your dinner, it is good practice to go for an evening walk. Evening walk should be at least 15 minute long, it can be more than this but at least 15 minutes walk after dinner is good for your health.

You should be walking for at least for 30 to 45 minutes everyday for healthier life. Walking should be done on daily basis.

Twelfth point is when you are about to go to bed at night it is a good practice to drink a cup full of warm milk with a pinch full of turmeric added to it. This is a boon for you. This will improve your immunity and it will also improve the quality of your sleep.
