If it is this problem that is known as oligohydramnios then it can lead to tremendous problems like preterm birth and in some cases the baby will not be developing properly and some trouble can also happen.

Apart from this water is also very much important for the absorption of vitamins and minerals in your body and to maintain your body temperature. If you are deficient of water you can face problems like dizziness, headache problem can come to you.

In some cases in the third trimester or the around like 34 to 37 week of your pregnancy, if your body is dehydrated, you can also feel contraction that is cramping and stomach ache problem. So these all are very undesired thing that you do not want to happen during pregnancy because during pregnancy you are already facing lots of other problems. 

How much water intake is required

How much water you should drink in your pregnancy so that everything is fine. You should drink at least 3 litres of water per day. So this is like if you’re drinking 8 to 10 glass full of water that is enough for all the activities (how much to drink water per day during pregnancy).

If you are doing some exercise like stretching, swimming, walking in that case you need extra water intake as well. So approximately 3 litres to 4 litres of water per day is good for you. That much you should always drink for the proper functioning of your body as well as for the baby’s development.

Symptoms of dehydration

Now let’s understand how you will get an idea that your body is dehydrated and you’re not drinking right amount of water per day. The immediate sign you will get is the color of your urine. Your urine color will get pale, it will become yellow, this is the first sign that you are drinking less water. Immediately go and drink at least one bottle of water.

Second is feeling low on energy, feeling irritable, you heart rate increasing, low blood pressure and also you can face the problem of breathing. So if you are noticing all this thing that is a clear-cut sign that you are doing something wrong with your water intake and  you have to increase it.

How to hydrate body

Now some useful tips how you can drink water because sometimes it is not good for you to drink water all the time, it is quite boring as well. So water means that you have to keep your body hydrated and you can also do this thing by drinking fruit juices or eating lots of fruit.

Fruits which are having good amount of water like the coconut water is a very good, watermelon is almost having the water in it. Fruits like oranges, grapes you should always eat and their juice is very much good for you.

This will keep your body hydrated as well as you will get tremendous amount of nutrition for you and for the proper development of the baby inside the womb.
